Meet Remy!

Remy is a now 3 year old AKC German Shepherd (born on 8/15/2022) owner surrender who weighs about 80-85 lbs. He was surrendered once due to the buyer’s newborn daughter being allergic to dogs, and was kept outside in a dog run. He was rehomed to a new home who kept him inside, but later also found they have developed an allergy to his fur too. They reached out to us after not having any luck finding him a new home.

Remy is a stunning purebred German Shepherd with all the intelligence, loyalty, and heart you’d expect from the breed. Sadly, his past wasn’t filled with the love and guidance he deserved—he wasn’t given much socialization or training in his early life. Because of that, he’s still learning how to navigate the big world around him. ADORE’s trainer has been working with him to get him used to adjusting to new changes and learning that there is a whole new world outside of just the backyard.

This boy needs an experienced owner who understands the German Shepherd breed and can give him the structure, patience, and consistency he craves. With the right guidance, he will blossom into the incredible companion he was meant to be.

In the right hands, he’ll be a loyal protector, a smart student, and a best friend for life. If you have the experience and heart to give Remy the chance he deserves, he’s ready to give you his whole world in return. Remy loves his dog bed and chewing his toys. He is very playful and loves to chase the ball. He would do best in a home currently as the only dog, but we plan to test him more soon. We would also recommend older kids since he does get overly excited with noises and fast movements. He has never had an accident inside and is crate trained.

Remy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
